Strength and reliability of sectional doors depend on the design of primary components: sandwich-panel, profiles and component parts.
ALUTECH sandwich-panels belong to one of the strongest panels in Europe. The structure of 45mm-thick panel provides high resistance to both wind and impact loads and ensures excellent thermal and sound insulation properties.
The internal space is evenly filled with freon-free foam polyurethane. Increased density of the foam poly urethane filling (46 – 47 kg/m³) ensures rigidity of the door leaf and high deformation resistance.
Both outer and inner steel sheets of the sandwich panel are interconnected in the top and bottom of the panel. This eliminates separation of the panel due to dramatic door lowering and due to sun rays exposure for dark colored panels. Due to such design of the panel the door is resistant to wind and impact loads.
Intermediate hinges have a specific bended plate design that ensures durability of hinges, prevents their slackening and distortion. Test showed that one intermediate hinge can withstand tensile stress of 7,000N or ∼715 kg.
Big sized doors are additionally reinforced: the door leaf is fitted with steel profiles, reinforced bottom profile, double side roller brackets.
