System description

The ALT W72 CW window system is an outward opening casement window based on the standard W72 frame and transom profile. In the event of strong wind pressure to the window, the window sash is compressed against the frame. The system is internally beaded for security. The handle, lock and lock counterparts are in the "warm" zone of the window (from the internal of the building); the hinges (stays/scissors) are located in the "cold" zone of the window (from the external of the building).

The outward-opening windows are available in the following configurations:

  • window with the single sash;
  • window with two sashes;
  • window with two sashes with mitre-joint corner junctions of the frame and transom bar profiles;
  • window with two sashes with the frame and transom bar profile junction at an angle of 90°;
  • top hung windows;
  • side hung windows.

System functionality

The ALT W72 CW system’s sashes are designed to open out, providing greater free space within a room. Outward opening windows ideally fit office buildings, industrial, domestic, municipal and residential premises where it is not possible or unacceptable to occupy the inner area. The window sash does not require additional space that provides economy and ergonomic use of the room space. It is convenient to install in the small rooms as well as in the areas with the installed furniture.
